C.C. was getting married -

he brought flowers and gifts to his soon-to-be-bride.

He would never allow her to be mistreated.

We are the bride of Christ.

Why do some think Jesus would do anything less

for His bride?

It doesn't make sense that JESUS would allow His bride to be

in tribulation just before the marriage.

I Thessalonians 4:18

The rapture is taught in the final verses of I Thessalonians.

The last verse (vs. 18) instructs us to be encouraged and comforted

by the glorious hope of the rapture.

J.Vernon McGee has this to say about I Thessalonians 4:18:

" My friend, Jesus is going to take His own out of this world someday!

What a glorious, wonderful comfort this is! "
